CISF Driver Jobs 2025 Educational Qualifications
Candidates should have completed their Matriculation (Class 10) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board. If the educational certificate is issued by a board other than the State or Central Boards, a government-issued notification validating its equivalency must be provided.
In addition, candidates need to have a valid driving license for heavy motor vehicles, light motor vehicles, and motorcycles with gear, along with a minimum of three years of driving experience (calculated from the issuance date of the light motor vehicle license).
Age Limit Candidates must be aged between 21 and 27 years as of March 4, 2025. Age relaxations are available for specific categories as follows:
- SC/ST candidates: 5 years
- OBC candidates: 3 years
- Ex-servicemen: As per government norms
- Children and dependents of victims of the 1984 riots and 2002 Gujarat riots: 5 years (with documentation)

Selection Process The recruitment process includes several stages:
Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST): Candidates will undergo fitness tests, including an 800-meter run, long jump, and high jump. This stage is qualifying, and only those who pass move on to the next phase. Candidates will also be measured for height, chest, and weight, with relaxations available for certain categories as per government rules
Documentation and Trade Test: Verification of educational qualifications, driving licenses, and other documents, followed by practical driving tests
Written Examination: An objective-type test consisting of 100 questions divided into five sections: General Knowledge, Mathematics, Analytical Aptitude, Observation Ability, and English/Hindi Language
Medical Examination & Final Merit List: Candidates who pass the earlier stages will undergo a medical examination to ensure they meet the required health standards. The final merit list will be prepared based on written exam performance
